I'm a first-year CSE PhD student at the State University of New York at Buffalo, advised by Prof. Junsong Yuan. Interested in computer vision, machine learning and robotics.
Before that, I got my B.S. degree from Wuhan University in 2025, majoring in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. And I was a visiting student at AI4CE Lab@NYU led by Prof. Chen Feng.
Are we able to create an immersive and interactive virtual world?
At the broadest level, my research interests lie in the intersection of computer vision, photogrammetry and machine learning.
Specifically, I'm interested in 3D reconstruction and SLAM, focusing on high-precision mapping, reconstruction, and restoration of objects, streets, and cities, while also perceiving embedded information to enable interaction.
With the advancement of neural networks, hardware performance, and robotics, the speed and accuracy of reconstruction will continue to improve. Its impact will inevitably extend to multiple domains, such as medicine, anthropology, and the gaming industry.
